The fishing charter directory space is dominated by one site, FishingBooker, which charges captains 15–22% commission on every booking. That’s a brutal cut for a small-business captain running a charter at $400–$1,500 per trip — and it’s usually invisible to the angler, who just sees a price.

Unreel exists to be the directory that’s fair to captains and useful to anglers. No commissions, ever. Listings are flat-rate or free. Anglers contact captains directly, and what gets booked stays between the two of them.
