What should I bring?
This is a rain forest, bring QUALITY RAIN GEAR and a hat, however the sun does come out so sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, plus dress in layers so you can shed as the day warms up. Low cut boots are a plus but most guests just use tennis shoes.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, an Alaskan fishing license can be purchased on line b/e you leave home, or 1200' down the road one may purchase a license.
Are kids welcome?
Sure, kids are welcome, but if under 12 yrs old they must wear a life jacket when in the boat or on our dock.
Do you clean and bag the catch?
Sure do, answered above.
Do I need fishing experience?
No, as a matter of fact, WOMEN catch more fish on the average. They listen better! Men are still welcome.
What will we target?
We fish SALMON, and our lesser targeted fish would be Ling Cod, Yellow Eye and other rock fish. We do not fish Halibut.
How do we get there?
From Seattle, hop on an Alaskan Air Jet to Ketchikan. After landing walk to the south end of the airport to Island Air Express and take a 30 min. flight to Klawock where we will transport you to our lodge just 1`.4 miles away. Cancellation Policy
A deposit holds your date and is non-refundable, but it can be applied to a rescheduled trip within 12 months. If we cancel for weather, your deposit is refunded in full or moved to a new date, your choice.
