About the Captain
Blue Heron Fishing is a family run drift boat fleet started in 1955 by Captain Harry Nagel and now run by the third generation. Boats sail from under the Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach and from a second dock in Jupiter (561-747-1200), fishing reefs a quarter mile to three miles out in 50 to 200 feet. Half day trips need no reservation and include rod, bait and license, and the boats can be chartered privately for large groups.
