About the Captain
Montrose Harbor is the best location out of Chicago as it is the farthest north marina in Chicago and closer to the areas that produce the most fish in this area. Another benefit is the easy parking found readily available in the marina. Montrose Harbor is only minutes from Wrigley Field and Downtown Chicago. A special boat of the Confusion Fleet is The MASSIVE CONFUSION a 38foot Delta Custom Charter boat which is built from the ground up as a Multipassenger vessel for fishing and is available for larger groups of more than 6 passenger (Approved by the US Coast Guard to handle groups up to 14 passengers plus crew!). This unique vessel operates charters out of Chicago’s Montrose Harbor which is located 10 minutes from downtown Chicago on famous Lake Shore Drive. Chicago fishing charters are excellent all Summer long and typically go from Late April through October. As in Northpoint Marina the main species of fish we catch are Salmon and Trout.
