About the Captain
Captain Rock has been fishing the Corpus Christi, Portland, Mustang Island, and Port Aransas area for over 30 years. His passion and enthusiasm for fishing is contagious. He will navigate you and your party safely to one or more local fishing destinations which may include the Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay, Corpus Christi Bay, Oso Bay, Shamrock Cove, or The Land Cut. Explore the unique inshore bay systems that our Texas coast has to offer. Whether you want to sight cast tailing reds in the flats, reel in a new personal best trout, catch flounder, sheepshead, or drum - Captain Rock can get you hooked up! Common fishing methods include live bait, artificial lures, and drift fishing fromof the boat. We will take the time before you book to assess your ability and desires in order to come up with the right game plan for you and your party. Wade fishing trips are available upon request. The Captain usually launches out of Clems Marina which is aproximately a 15 minute drive from Port Aransas or a 20 minute drive from Portland. And there is plenty of room onboard his 24 foot Blue Wave 244 Magnum powered by the reliable 200 Suzuki motor.
