Doghouse Sportfishing is one of the top boats for fishing charters on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Doghouse was featured on National Geographic’s Wicked Tuna Outer Banks for six years! Our action-packed offshore charters take us through the famous Oregon Inlet and out to the rich waters of the Atlantic Gulf Stream. The Doghouse is a 61 foot, custom Carolina boat built for Captain Britton Shackelford and his wife by Captain Buddy Harris and finished by Harrison's Boatworks. Captain Britton was integral in the construction every step of the way. The Doghouse was built to be an inspected vessel, which means we can carry more than the standard six passengers. Our boat is certified to carry 24 passengers.
