About The CaptainCaptain Chris Simpson is a USCG licensed and insured captain with 30+ years of serious fishing experience. He's laid back, likes to laugh and have a good time but takes his fishing seriously. All those things are good ingredients for having a good time on the water. He's also known by his constantly growing groups of regular customers as being very honest and upfront about things. If the fishing has not been good a day or so before your trip then he will let you know and give you the opportunity to move your trip to another date. While his reputation was mainly built on Lakes Murray, Monticello and Greenwood. After guiding on those waters for 14 years, he now lives near the shores of Clark Hill and has made that his primary focus.
