About Captain Kenneth D. Howell
Captain Ken has over 30 years experience fishing Navajo Lake. The last few years the focus has been on locating and catching Kokanee Salmon. You will become part of the crew by assisting in steering the boat while the rods are set on the down riggers. The client's primary duty will be reeling in the fish! The boat is a 28 foot Sport Fish 272. She was built for fishing and you will see many of these boats on the Great Lakes and offshore fishing on the east coast. She has a large open deck and the wide design provides a stable platform for trolling. The Reel Deal a charter boat is equipped with 2 Canon Digi-Troll Tournament series electric downriggers allowing for up to 4 poles in the water. Light weight Kokanee rods and Daiwa reels make landing these salmon both challenging and fun. It is a perfect fishing boat for fishing salmon at Navajo Lake.
