Indigo Guide Service has offered guided fishing trips on West Michigan’s rivers for over twenty years. These rivers include the Pere Marquette River, Manistee, White, and Muskegon, where we target trout, steelhead, and salmon. We’ve also guided the flats of Beaver Island for over fifteen years, fishing for carp, smallmouth bass, and pike. For the past several years we have been guiding the marshlands south of New Orleans for bull redfish. In addition to these destinations, we sometimes head out on hosted trips to other world-class fisheries. Return customers are the base of our business, accounting for over 80% of our trips each year. Old fashioned word of mouth is where we get most of our new customers. We’ve been featured in over a hundred magazine articles including Field & Stream, In-Fisherman, and The Drake. We’ve also been on dozens of television shows, including Fly Fishing the World, Ford Outfitters, and In-Fisherman. Kevin and Steve are first-class. Very knowledgeable about smallmouth and carp fishing. We landed a couple large northern, dogfish and lots of smallies. Crazy fishery but watch out for the rocks. They will give you comfort as you pass by massive boulders.
