About Captain Kirt Guinn
Captain Kirt Guinn I am US Coast Guard certified and fully insured captain and have been fishing the waters around Fripp Island for 20 years, and also for a lifetime before in many places across the United States and Canada. Reel Buzz Fishing Charters has three boats that offer a wide variety of fishing during all times of year, and allow for varied pricing options that can better accommodate a single fisherman, or many. I have a 2020 World Cat 280CC-X Center Console Catamaran, a 2015 Sea Hunt Ultra 211 Center Console, and a 2013 Spyder FX Flats Boat. Check the “Rates” page to see. For Reel Buzz Fishing Charters, safety is the first priority for our guests. Particularly for offshore fishing, weather is a BIG factor – mainly the wind, causing rough seas. The decision to go offshore is strictly the Captain’s. That said, rare are the days the weather is “too bad” to do some types of fishing. We can get to places inshore around the island that are more protected from wind.
