The Little Red River below Greers Ferry Dam is one of the finest tailwater trout fisheries in the entire United States. Cold, clear water released from the depths of Greers Ferry Lake creates perfect year-round habitat for both rainbow and brown trout. This river produced a world-record brown trout exceeding 40 pounds and continues to yield trophy fish to anglers who know where and how to fish it. As a full-time local guide, I've spent over 20 years learning every productive run, seam, and feeding lane on this water.
