About Captain Cephas Christian
As a native Floridian, I grew up on the gulf coast waters of St. Pete Beach. This is where my love for the water began. Having my own boat since the age of 10 strengthened my love for the water and my bond for fishing began. My father, a great influence in my life, taught me much about bottom/grouper fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Allowing me to operate and navigate with only the use of a compass and a “bottom scratcher” at the age of 13. I quickly learned the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and all her mood swings. After 18 years in St. Pete, my family moved “north” to Citrus County, Florida.
