About Captain Jeff
Welcome aboard Silver Crescent Fly Fishing, a dedicated tarpon fly fishing charter in Miami led by Captain Jeff. I specialize in targeting tarpon after dark — an adrenaline-packed experience tackling Miami’s tarpon fishing hotspots. Whether you’re an experienced fly angler or new to the game, your night on the water will be guided by local knowledge, custom-tied flies, and a passion for connecting anglers to the magic of fly fishing under the stars. Fishing for tarpon at night can be one of the most effective ways to connect with the Silver King. On an average night with the right tide, you can expect a handful of shots, a few hooked fish, and if you’re lucky, you’ll will the battle to the boat for the prized photo op. Typical fish we find are 30-60 lbs., but it’s not rare to get a shot or two at a fish pushing triple digits!
