About the Captain
South Platte Fly Shop is a full service fly fishing retail store and guide outfitter located in Woodland Park, CO. We offer the largest selection of flies on the Front Range. Our shop is conveniently situated in the middle of three Gold Medal sections of the South Platte River, all of which can be reached within a 30-45 minute drive from our front door. We are 45 minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport and approximately 90 minutes from Denver International Airport. Our employees are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and are eager to share their extensive knowledge of our local waters with all levels of anglers. We offer a wide array of products to fit every budget, and strive to create a friendly, welcoming shop environment.
