About Susquehanna River Guides
Jason Shay started fishing before he could walk. He used to ride his bike to all the local streams to catch fish. At the age of 13 he got his first boat, a 14 foot jon boat. In 2002 he started taking his fishing passion seriously and started fishing tournaments at a club, state and regional level. However he found a true love on the Susquehanna river. He guides year round. He loves the rush of putting clients on hard fighting smallies. He operates a 1860 Snyder Jet boat outfitted with a 150/105 Evinrude Etec jet, all the Minn Kota accessories and a UHMW high strength bottom to make his boat glide over the rocky Susquehanna bottom. This helps him get to areas other boats can't get to. Jason's clients often believe in disbelief of how awesome a fishery the Susquehanna river is. He is constantly on the water to keep his clients on the big ones. Let Jason prove to you why the Susquehanna is one of the best fishing smallmouth rivers in the nation. Jason is a commercially insured and PA lice
