About Captain John Boats
Welcome to Tailing Tide Guide Service, based out of Swansboro, North Carolina. We specialize in Fly Fishing and Light Tackle Charters. Our trips are based around North Carolina’s inshore shallow water fishery, our nearshore ocean fishery and our coastal river fishery. Whenever conditions allow, we love to target fish by sight fishing for them. Whether it's tailing Redfish, blitzing Albacore, or Stripers rolling on the surface...it's exciting, it's challenging, and it's what we live for. Fly fishing may be our bread and butter, but we also fish conventional tackle, and we love having kids aboard so we can teach them about the great outdoors. What we aim to provide, is a fun day on the water and long lasting memories of your trip. You can expect to have a captain that will give his 100% to show you a great time, teach you something new, and introduce you to the beauty of coastal North Carolina.
