About the Captain
Back home, that calling led him to Grand Lake of the Cherokees. He earned his Captain's license and founded Unsalted Waters Chartering, then went on to earn both his 100-ton and 200-ton Merchant Mariner credentials — proof of how seriously he took the trust his guests placed in him. Grady was bigger than life. Loud voice, sharp wit, a wicked sense of humor, and a heart that showed up for the people he loved. Above all, he was a devoted father to his daughter Lilah, born October 29, 2015 — the center of his world from the very first moment.
