About Captain Greg Borras
Fishing is a passion for Capt. Greg Borras, who worked aboard the Golden Eagle for almost 10 years. He started as a mate, learned the ropes from veteran crew members, became first mate and then captain. His easy-going personality made him a favorite with anglers, and experienced and novice fishermen alike could count on his help, often before they asked. He is best known for hooking a fish and passing the rod to a kid. Earning his captain's license was a dream come true, and today he runs the Victoria Marie.
