The Lake Erie Walleye fishery is world famous and is known as the Walleye Capital of the World. Perch fishing in the late summer and fall provides a lot of action as the limit of Lake Erie perch is currently 30 per person. The smallmouth fishery is one of the best in the midwest if not in the entire country. Smallmouth are a great game fish and offer a very feisty fight.
