Opening Day: April 4, 2025 Yellow Bird Runs Seven Days A Week Come fish with us! The Yellow Bird is a 60 foot fiberglass over wood constructed vessel built by Lydia Boat Works in Stuart, Florida. It is rugged, fast, dry and extremely clean in and out, with a heated passenger cabin. The Yellow Bird’s rails are low to the water in comparison to other charter boats, which reduces the amount of fish lost at the rail. We have cut passenger counts down to 30 on our all day trips and 24 on the 10 hour and marathon trips. This allows the angler to fish comfortably with 4 to 5 feet of space between each other, drastically reducing tangles. The boat is equipped with the latest in marine electronics and can reach speeds in excess of 20kts. Tackle on board the boat consists of Penn 113 high speed reels paired with Penn 6′ 6″ fiberglass poles, which makes reeling fish up in the deep waters a breeze.
