Meet Captain CharlieSaltwater fishing has always been my passion. I have been fishing the Texas Coastal Bend since I was 11 years old, just big enough to rope-start a 20 hp motor. I walked my catch home in a "Red Flyer" wagon, often selling the fish on the way home to help pay the bills. After a year of college, I began my career of commercial fishing. San Antonio Bay, Copano Bay, Aransas Bay, Redfish Bay, Corpus Christi Bay and Nueces Bay became my backyard playground, and Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder and Sheephead became my friends. In 1989 I earned my US Coastguard License, obtained my Professional Guide License with Texas Parks and Widlife, and over the years became a top notch South Texas Fishing Guide . Unlike most guides, I fish full time and year round, and have been doing so for over 30 years. I have lived in Aransas Pass nearly all my life, and fish the bays and flats of Port Aransas, Rockport, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Portland, and Corpus Christi. I am the p
