About the Captain
Hi, I'm Captain Joe Clouse. I was born in Corpus Christi where I spent my summers fishing with my grandparents in and around Port Aransas. I started commercial fishing for flounder drum and sheep head in the mid-1990s and working in a fish house cutting and delivering fish shrimp crabs and the like to restaurants throughout the coastal bend. Now, I’m a full-time Aransas Pass flounder guide who knows the waters, habits, and migration patterns of flounder very well.
