About Captain Scott Thompson
After years in the corporate world, a layoff became the turning point that pushed Scott to finally pursue the career he’d always been building toward. What started as a childhood passion became a calling—and today, he brings that passion to every trip, guiding beginners and experienced anglers alike. Captain Scott has competed in and won local tournaments, including the Amelia Island Blue Island Shootout and the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament, but his greatest reward is watching others land fish they’ll remember for a lifetime. Licensed for up to six anglers plus crew, he runs a calm, professional, and safety-first operation focused on education, confidence, and unforgettable days on the water.
